Is it a crime to have a lot of money? No. Is it a crime to spend that money on really expensive cars? Yes it is; specially in this age of climate change, and specially if those million dollar cars burn a lot of fuel and spew tons of CO2 into the atomsphere. Like the Lamborghini Reventon....this expensive car, designed on the F-22 military plane, emits half-a-kilo of CO2 for every kilometer that it runs!!
The Lamborghini Reventon costs $1.4 million....the exterior body is made of CFC, a composite carbon fibre material, which makes this million dollar car stable and very light. It's main body is also a steel-CFC mix. Lamborghini Reventon accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds, with a maximum speed over 340 km/h. It burns 32 litres to cover a distance of 100km. Like the fighter jet it is modelled on, the Lamborghini Reventon displays a G-Force meter, which displays the dynamic drive forces, longitudinal acceleration during acceleration and braking, as well as transversal acceleration around bends!
The Bugatti Veyron costs $1.7 million and zooms to 253 miles per hour. This million dollar car changes shape, presses itself lower to take an aerodynamic shape, for speeds over 135mph. It's 1001 horse power engine spews 574gm of CO2 for every kilometer! The interior of the Bugatti Veyron (from motortrend):

The Maybach Exelero is the priciest of the million dollar cars at $8 million....this is why only one such car exists on the planet! It has a top speed of 218 mph. Other specifications are unknown because the mystery American owner has not let it out on the roads! The interior of the Maybach Exelero:
America’s DiMora Motorcar will be bringing out a million dollar car in 2009; it has been named the Natalia SLS201:
The 1200 horse power car will be a hand-built four-seater sport luxury sedan with a price tag of $2 million. It's 16-cylinder engine will have flex-fuel capability making it suitable to run on ethanol. This is supposed to make it "green-friendly" but we all know that ethanol is only slightly better than gasoline in spewing carbon emissions.
