Pretty model Josie Maran played the character of Mia Townsend in the street-racing computer and video game, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, in 2005. At that time Josie said in an interview that she drove a Volvo S60R.
"I have a Volvo S60R and it's a pretty fast car, the "R" says it all. It`s a 300-horsepower rocket. And I like to drive fast," said Josie. The Volvo S60R has a 2.5 liter engine, a six-speed gearbox, and goes from 0-60mph in 5.5 seconds. Sadly it's fuel efficiency is 25mpg on the highway and 18mpg in the city.
Josie Maran turned eco-friendly in 2006 and launched her own "green" cosmetics line, made from non-toxic ingredients. The still sexy model has ambitions of making the Josie Maran brand all about green living. "I live by the motto, Reduce, reuse, recycle. I'm always conscious of my ecological footprint. Also, I find spending time outdoors reminds me of why I want to preserve the earth."
It's 2009 and hopefully Josie Maran has got herself a new, more eco-friendly car. And if you're still sticking with Volvo, then Josie Maran please drive a hybrid!
